Bellevue has to be the poshest place on the Light Rail – hasn’t it? Well, certainly until Mercer Island comes online – then we’ll have to re-assess. Bellevue is where you’ll find expensive shops, flamboyant cars and the sort of people who like to hang out in expensive shops and with bright red cars. It’s where scruples go to hang out at Din Tai Fung or eat steak at John Howie. The Light Rail station is conveniently located next to the Town Hall and inconveniently for anything else.
There are a lot of pubs if you head out the station and just start walking towards west towards Bellevue Way, but the one that’s been highlighted by our man Bob is…

Tapster. This place has a lot of taps and a lot of gumption, as it sells them by the ounce. It should go the extra mile and sell them in bags by the gram. (or liter?). There’s quite the range of beers and styles – nothing too offensive though – maxing out at ~8%. Seems like a fun stop on your journey to somewhere else.
